Opening Our New Clapbase in Bogotá and Reaffirming Our Presence in Colombia

Some news is data-driven, while other stories are driven by narrative. This one has both.

What began in 2023 as an operational hub to support the region and the world gradually became much more. Colombian talent joined, thrived, and stepped into leadership roles. Eventually, Colombia became the company's second-most-important market. Today, our Bogotá Clapbase stands as Winclap's largest office.

About Winclap

We are a Growth Transformation company founded in 2014 in Córdoba, Argentina. We transform how companies grow by helping top-tier brands acquire, retain, and monetize users. Our team consists of over 300 "clappers" distributed across Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, and the United States.

Our solutions span five key areas: Paid Media, Own Media, Creative Studio, Winclap Data, and Consulting. In each area, we combine strategy, technology, and execution to drive real business impact for our clients—including companies like Mercado Libre, Rappi, DiDi, Kimberly-Clark, and many others operating in the region's most competitive markets.

Why a Clapbase in Colombia, and Why Now?

When we decided to expand into Colombia, we analyzed several factors: language, economic stability, and the quality of available talent. Colombia checked every box. We found that around 20–25% of the population holds university degrees aligned with what we look for, alongside a stable macroeconomic environment and strong interest in our work culture within a historically traditional job market.

Today, we have over 100 clappers across Bogotá and Medellín. In fact, one of our four global solutions is managed entirely out of Colombia. Furthermore, turnover within our Colombian team is among the lowest in the entire company—which, to us, speaks louder than any climate survey.

This is the direct result of a highly deliberate cultural value proposition.

The Culture Colombian Talent Chose

What attracts Colombian talent most to Winclap is our way of working: clear goals, genuine flexibility, direct collaboration with the region's top brands, and an industry (AI-powered digital marketing) that never stops moving.

In contrast to more rigid corporate structures and closed hierarchies, Winclap offers something different: autonomy with real impact and the opportunity for fast-tracked growth. For example, some clappers who joined just two or three years ago as analysts are now in managerial roles. Others are leading international projects, while some have traveled to other cities across the region to work closely with top-tier clients.

This impact is also evident in our employer brand. After three years and more than 100 hires in Colombia, we have built a self-sustaining network: team members frequently recommend others, and even those who move on to other companies speak highly of their experience at Winclap. Our reputation grew organically because our promise is genuine.

As Flavia Paez, our Head of People, explains: "The culture we've built didn't happen by luck; on the contrary, it's something we have to nurture over time actively. We invest a great deal of time and dedication to ensure that the experience of a clapper joining today is the same as someone who joined three years ago, even though our headcount has tripled."

An Office for What Can't Be Done at Home

The new Bogotá Clapbase is not meant to replace or contradict remote work. Instead, it changes what we can accomplish when we gather in person.

Our goal for this space is to give people a place to come together when a task truly thrives on face-to-face interaction: a whiteboard brainstorming session that needs everyone in the same room, a process that needs to be co-designed as a team, a client presentation that deserves a unified presence, or a team breakfast that builds bonds Slack simply cannot replicate.

All of our corporate offices feature a flexible design with no fixed desks, engineered to scale our headcount without space constraints. The layout feels much closer to a comfortable living room than a traditional corporate office.

What This Means for Business and the Brands We Partner With

Establishing our own Clapbase in Bogotá is a strategic business move just as much as a cultural milestone.

Colombia was not originally included in Winclap's roadmap as a commercial territory. It entered as an operational hub—a base to deliver support across the region. What wasn't in the original plan was that Colombian talent would end up generating its own network of opportunities. Consequently, without a top-down commercial strategy, the country built its own commercial footprint. Mariano Sáenz, CEO and Co-Founder of Winclap, captures this perfectly: "Colombia started as an operations hub to deliver services regionally and globally, and over time it became a cornerstone market on a business level as well. When you have a team this talented, opportunities naturally surface. Talent builds a network, and that network drives business."

We partner with major players like Mercado Libre, Rappi, DiDi, and Kimberly-Clark—large teams with high-impact projects across multiple regional markets. Kimberly-Clark, for instance, is an account that originated in Colombia and is now led from there for the entire region.

Having our own physical office adds a whole new dimension to these relationships. Previously, showcasing Winclap to a client or prospect depended entirely on what could be conveyed in a slide deck. Now, we have a space where a brand can walk in, see how we operate, meet the team, and experience Winclap's culture firsthand. That completely shifts the commercial conversation. It also unlocks initiatives we were already running in other Clapbases—such as Growth Tables, strategic workshops, and deep-dive work sessions—which previously required renting external venues or adapting to third-party coworking spaces in Bogotá.

Moving forward, the space is ours, and we will use it exactly as it was intended.

What's Next

The grand opening of the Bogotá Clapbase is a launchpad for our next chapter rather than a final destination.

Our immediate focus is on embedding our culture within the new space and continuing to develop our clappers, who have everything they need to keep thriving. In parallel, we will continue to scale global leadership positions outside Colombia.

If you are based in Bogotá—whether as a brand, a prospective talent, or someone looking to discuss growth transformation for your business—you now know exactly where to find us.

Colombia had already earned its place within Winclap. Now, we are proud to say that Winclap has officially established its presence in Colombia.
